a watercolor of a 2-story stone building with a small 1-story porch at the entrance.

Interested in commissioning a portrait of your office or home?

An original landscape painting of an office or home can be a one-of-a-kind gift or a memorable piece of decor.

I accept a limited number of architectural commissions. If you think my watercolor work would be a good match for your project, reach out to me using the form below.

    Prices

Costs will vary depending on the size and the complexity of the subject, but here are some starter pricing points based on the size of a painting (these prices do not include any matting or framing). I include a potential framed size suggestion to help you visualize the size of a matted and framed painting on your wall:

    • 7″x10″ watercolor of a single structure starts at $100 – ideal framed size would be 11″x14″
    • 10″x14″ watercolor of a single structure starts at $175 – ideal framed size would be 14″x18″
    • 12″x16″ watercolor of a single structure starts at $230 – ideal framed size would be 16″x20″

I prefer to take my own photographs, but will work from quality photographs provided by the client if the photographs provide me with sufficient information and represent the requested viewpoint/angle of the structure.

I will quote a price for every project and the quote must be accepted and approved by the client in writing before I commence work on the project.

Quoted prices will increase significantly if a project requires compositing a painting based on several photographs.

Also, since watercolor is an unforgiving medium, if the project requires recreating structural and landscape elements based on low-quality photographs or verbal descriptions, I suggest working with an artist who works in conceptual art/digital media.
